Gouripur: Upazila BNP Joint Convener Nasimul Goni Sohel is considered as a popular candidate for Mymensingh-3 (Gouripur) constituency and he is likely to get the nomination from from Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

Local sources said, he has submitted his nomination form as an aspirant of BNP to contest the forthcoming general election scheduled to be held on December 30.

11 of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) aspirants submitted their nomination papers for Mymensingh-3 constituency with a view to join the 11th National parliamentary election. Mymensingh-3 is constituted by only Gouripur upazila.  

Nasimul Goni Sohel, one of eleven BNP hopefuls who bought party nomination papers from BNP party office is staying in Dhaka to try to get the party nomination. On November 21, 2018 Wednesday, these aspirant candidates were called for an interview by the BNP nomination board.

Nasimul Goni Sohel is a grand son of former district judge, late Ishak Uddin and a nephew of former BNP law maker late A.F.M. Nazmul Huda. He  is a popular man, a social worker, and a business man. He has dedicated his life towards social activities.

He  told the correspondent “I belong to the ideology of Shahid Zia ur Rahman”  and  that he will hope to win the seat if he gets the party ticket to contest the election,” His supporters also said he had kept himself always busy with development activities for the people of this constituency and he had also been financially helping the poor people.

The local BNP leaders said, Nasimul Goni Sohel deserves BNP nomination.
